Having H pipe intsall problems!!
When i did my bronco 92, last year it was horrible! the nuts had rusted round almost and I had to use a gatorgrip scoket on 2 and 2 I had to cut off, nut the gatorgrip socket might work on the drivers side but it's kinda long fat to fit in the pass side to get those bolts off.
yeah you don't think I haven't done that??!! Sorry I don't mean to sound pissed but I am pissed cause I have been working on that thing for two hours and haven't even got a bolt loose.
But I think that I have found a socket that fits. it is a 11/16 and it somewhat fits, it only goes on when at a certain angle, but I am really scared becasue I will be torquing on it and it will slip and I just don't want to strip it cause then I am ****ed. 11/16 just seems so huge but it somewhat works

no worries bro You just got the HPMS (H pipe menstrual Syndrome) and you'll being yelling and cussing and pissed off for a while. now let me ask you what side are you trying to get first? Pass? if so what are you using? becuase a reg size socket WON'T fit on the bolt with a ratchet or extension on it, the stud bolt is too long so you'll need a semi deep socket, use a reg deep 3/8 drive socket(Should be 15MM if rusted up PB Blast it clean it up and HAMMER the socket onto it. It's better to be tight on it then a size up) with a 1/2 adapter swivel and breaker bar to get them loose on the pass side.
The cat to muffler bolts are like 9/16th's or something
The Header to H-pipe is 15mm
And here is a part number incase ya need new studs
Napa auto part 600-1819
M10 x 1.5 Studs
M10 Nuts
Get yourself a stud extractor too
If it comes down to that

Thanks sunguf I have been working on the driver side cause it is easier to reach. I have jsut been using a ratchet and extension and a deep socket. But for now I have lowered it back down so I will give it a try tomorrow, I just didn't think that I had the time to do it. I actually got that 11/16 on the nut just right and gave it a lot but it didn't budge. I just need to work at it and hopfully it will loosen. I have already used a whole can of WD40
HAHA yeah I looked at where it was clipped to and i say F it I'll just takw it off without uncliping it (Which didn't hurt nothing becuase they were changed out before i bought the stang by the dealer and the dumbasses pluged them in then tighted them leaving it all wraped up!)
