Default URGENT HELP!!!!!! PLEASE READ PTV ISSUES??

i am putting some comp cam xe270 cams in a friends car.. we replaced all valve springs.. but when you turn the crank it stops and wont really go anymore... what could be the cause of this? is a piston hitting a valve?? i wouldnt think it would cuz my stage 3 VT cams clear fine... how can i fix this???

Yes it is hitting the piston. Comp cams have an advance in them which is why they hit. You need adjustable cam gears so you can take that advance out or you need to get reliefs cut into the pistons.
