Quick fuel and tune question

Quick fuel and tune question
So my car was tuned the other day when I got my 4.10's installed. The tuner and I had talked about whether or not to tune it for 93 octane, we didn't decide and he had me come over and we took it for a drive. We finished tuning, I LOVED IT, and we called it done.
I forgot to ask him if he tuned it for 93 or not. I sent him an email but haven't got an answer yet, and I'm about out of gas
If I put the wrong octane in (With the tune 
[:-]) is it just gonna run bad or what? Should I put 93 in just to be safe I guess?

He probably hasn't even checked his PM's yet, I just messaged him last night. I'll probably just do that, put a half a tank in and wait for him to answer.
