my buddy has an 04 cobra and he replaced his stock S/C (Eaton?) with a whipple and i asked him if i could buy that and put it on my 2000 gt 4.6 i asked if it would fit/function correctly, he said maybe with a new intake manifold, ejectors,programmer,throttle and plenum and new intake. do u guys think this is worth it and will my car blow up lol. also what would it cost for the support stuff. not sure what he will charge me

Not worth the hassle. Gonna require new heads too. Just get a procharger or similiar setup.
Might want to look into INjectors too. Ejectors might launch engine parts at people.

Its pausable, just not pratical. Need some custom fabricating.

If someone had the time to mass produce a bolt on kit to put a Eaton on a sohc GT, then so many eatons wouldnt go to waste, and maybe people with a smaller budget could take advantage of a used SC and some cheaper power.

yea just a typo lol. INjectors i was talking to my other buddy with an 04 cobra he was like not worth it either, to much work o well it was a thought

Good thought nonetheless. This gets asked all the time. I agree with Kart though, that would be the blower on a budget if it were easier to rig up.

we need to convince ford to make this... lol.. that way they dont have to service as many of our cars under warranty. hahah
