He may as well get a trac-loc if he doesn't already if he plans on installing lower gears....which would include changing carriers.

Well...you ask why he would need to change carriers.

since when is an 8.8 in a Mustang an open diff? Their all posi's. Maybe not the 7.5" that came in your 82' but since Ford started usin 8.8's they've all been posi.
