you could always do the wetsanding aproach, i did that with my last car. came out pretty good.

they also get foggy from sunlight. the uv rays or some sh*t oxidizes the plastic and you get the yellow fog, sometimes the only thing to do is replace them because the plastic is no good. all headlights will eventually do through this, its just a matter of when
