They don't do a sniffer test in Jersey do they? Is it just a visual? I passed here in Delaware with no cats. If they would have checked I'd be screwed. I have heard of people getting cats cut in half and just put over the o/r pipe. So there is a straight threw pipe going threw it. That will work as long they don't do a sniffer.

Im pretty sure they dont do the sniffer anymore, jsut plug it in to the computer and check for codes. This is why im asking if high flow cats throw a CEL

They shouldn't throw a CEL. If you getit from agood reputable company then you should be fine. Get MIL eliminators if it does pop up.

theyre bassani ones, so theyll fit my midpipe. Undo the 4 clamps, slide out the O/R legs, put the cats in, and tighten.

Make sure you drive the car around a couple of days, under various conditions, in case the monitors that the computer runs need to get used to the new cats.
It won't turn on a MIL, but they will turn you away from inspection if the monitors have not run.

Good Luck!
