will an 04 cobra stock supercharger fit without any problems on a 01 cobra?

 

Nope... 01 gots the 3 valve... 03/04 gots the 4v... that supercharger is only for those motors!

There isn't any cobra model with the 3v motor. All of the 4.6L cobras have been 4v so far.

So far as it fitting, I have heard lots of people say it will, but never seen any one acutally do it.

 

That's what I thought. The only mustang with the 3v is the new GTs.

 

Whoops! You all are right! The 99/01 Cobras did have the 4v! Don't know why i thought it was a 3v! I open mouth and insert foot! [sm=sorry.gif]

 

The swap can be done but requires alot of work and parts. You'll need a new timing cover, pulley's, and some other stuff. MPH did an '01 Cobra that belongs to 01Laser (a member of MF and Southeast Musclecar Assoc.). He got all the parts cheap from a buddy of his that has an 03/04 Cobra with a TT swap.
