O/R x pipe legal?
thats the thing about some states. Florida could care less what you have, but some states inspect your car every 6 months? i guess your gonna have to get high flow cats. If they look to see if the cat is there you can knock out the honey comb but if thet somehow test the emisions so they can tell if you have it for real or not , then your screwed. play it safe and use hig flow cats
It all depends on the city or town you live in. In chicago they test your car every 2 years. theres no way of getting passed it by bribing someone because the guys that work at testing facility have no control of the computer results. Other states just have you take it to a shop and they give you a pass ticket or something. These are the places you can bribe for a pass ticket.
Most states, for the first 4 years from your build date you only need to pass visual inspection & not emissions.
Although it's against federal law to remove anything from your stock emissions equipment...

You should all be glad you don't live in Mass. The inspection computers are connected directly to the registry, so there is no real way around it. Fortunately '83 and before don't need to pass emissions. That's why I bought an '83.
