Why would you pull a 4.6 and put a 5.0 in its place. It may cost more but a 4.6 can make and handle alot more then a 5.0.
WTF are you smoking I want some... you can reach over the 1000RWHP mark with a 5.0 ahhh how many soch 4.6's do you see that are even over 600?????? I will give you a hent... not a lot....

Why is it that evertime somebody posts about doing a motor swap thats not a doch or a 5.4 everybody bashes on him...... If I had the time and the money my car would have a LS1 in it or, if I was in a good mood and felt like keeping it ford it would have a 351 in it... and if you dont believe me about the 1000RWHP 5.0 just look up wolverine mustang dyno.... I think he made 1032hp and 1011 tq to the wheels.....

SO I say go for it man!!!!

Because motor swaps are stupid. It costs more money, takes more work, and will have more problems after doing so than to just build a 2v.

I don't think even 1 percent of the people that complain about the "lack of potential" or the head flow on a 2v have any idea how much power 600 WHP is. Your already talking a 10 second car with only light suspension mods and a moderate (for 600 WHP) 60' at full weight.

People have this strange idea they are going to roll around on 1000 WHP in a dd car.. it ain't gonna happen. Hell, anything over about 500 WHP is simply TOO much in a DD. At that point, you have too much cash into the car to tear it up on the daily grind, its going to have a heavy cam (not good for stop and go) and a stiff clutch, etc etc etc.

Alot of the people that complain about the 2v have only a few simple boltons.. and it just isn;t going to make 400 WHP with exhaust and a set of cams. However, you can't just add 300+ WHP and expect it to drive/act the same as a stock car, or even get decent MPG.

Sell those head you should be able to get a pretty penny for them.
Are they victor jr. heads or which ones.

If its not a dd just put a 351 in it and make it a 408 with afr 185 heads

you show me a 1000 HP 5.0i will show you a cookie, the block would of split along the lifter vallys well before tat

a 3.8 can handel more then the 4.6 or 5.0 whats the point? if hes doing a motor swap he should atleast make it worth wild and build whatever hes putting in

you could reach 1000 HP on any motor if you have the moeny

now, its not really worth it, for emissions you cant put an older motor in a newer car, it must be ODB2, if you still insist, you will need a K member out of a 94-95 and i believe a tranny, however swaping in a stock 302 is a complete waste of money, if your going to do something liek a 347 and a dart short block/eagale rotating assemblywiht a procharger then yes it is worth it

could also try and find a 32V 5.4 out of a navigator

my friend has a 93 cobra stroked and blown and is making 500 rwhp. If you wanna hit higher hp just buy a 351.

Who cars how much the3.6 block can hold its 6 cylinders it would take a whole lot more money.
