Default Fog Light question

So I have been trying to get this question answered for a week now. Tell me what you guys think. I looked up fog/running lights of my 02 Stang and I got this right off the sylvania site:

Fog/Driving light
899
9145
9145ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: The Whiter and Brighter Halogen

Now the lights that were stock in my car were Sylivania 899. Well they don't make a silverstar in 899 but they list their 9145. So I bought a set of 9145s and they dont' fit at all. First the plug and the bulb are on a 90 degree angle were as the 899s are straight. Also the plugs are wider and don't fit either! So should I buy some cheap xeons off ebay that they sell for 899s? I want a bulb like silverstars that will produce a white look because I have HIDs for headlights and it makes the fogs look gay. So I want to get some white builbs until I decide to buy HID 899s. Anyone make this happen yet? love ya

Ohh and by the way Silverstar makes an 893 bulb so I bought that and put it in. It lights up but its not white at all and its actually dimmer then the stock bulb. Do all the 800 bulbs fit but at different watts or something? I am returning that bulb cause it sucks.

The 899s are only 37.5W, and the 893s are a measly 27.5W--most listings refer to them both as "toy/cosmetic" fog and driving light lamps. Be careful as to how much heat you put in those OEM housings, they'll melt with much more than 50W...

Thanks for the info that would make sence since the 893 produced less light. Here is an ebay for an 893 that puts out 37.5? They also sell the 899 with the same rating. I would assume just buy the 899 and hope it has the white I am looking for not that ****ty bum yellow I don't like.
