Does any one out there know where to find repair parts/rebuild kits for T-45's? Also, does any one know where to find good manuals for this transmission. I have lost 3/4 gear on my car and would like to do the work myself but I'm running into brick walls finding anything. If anyone does know, PLEASE let me know websites. Thanks for any help.

just ordered a rebuild kit from www.thegearbox.org got seals, syncros and misc. best price I found $100.00 bucks

From what you said about losing 3-4 gear, it sounds like you busted a shift gate, which is NOT included in a rebuild kit. The best manual you will be able to find is a Helm manual from http://www.helminc.com

You also need to have access to a shop press if you want to do the job right, ie if you intend to replace the bearings (which you should always do) and races if they're marred. You'll have to special order the shift gate from Ford or a transmission shop because auto parts stores don't carry them.

ya, i busted my 34 shift gate also, i just ordered the shifter plates from ford for like 30 bux i think and put them in myself.
