Hey guys ive herd a rumor that putting a bullit intake on a 1996-98 mustang Gt will increase horsepower and wont crack like the GT's do is that true? and has anyone done it?
yes its true, altough gt intakes don't have a cracking problem.
really though, waste of money. PI swap is where you should be looking
The '96-'98 GTs have a major intake cracking problem. They have a plastic water crossover which is highly prone to cracking and spilling antifreeze all over the engine, which is why Ford redesigned it with the aluminum crossover.
The Bullitt intake on a N/A car is a waste of money. You can do a complete PI head swap with intake for the same amount of money and see huge gains.
