How will you rip it? You are reaching full throttle no matter what and then have some play.

food for thought... youll rip your throttle cable.. just letting you pedal guys know its a bad idea...
lol what are you talking about? thats why you put the piece of plastic tubing over the cable, then take the metal clamps and tighten them down over the plastic.

It allows you to push the pedal further than the cable can allow. Thus, strecthing it!

A ton of people seem to do it and that is the only actual time I have heard of it ripping.
