Default PnP/Valve Job or just get new heads?

So, I am looking at doing the engine rebuild, and perhaps a Valve/Port n Polish/ SPring job on the heads. Instead - why not just drop in new heads? I am looking at the Stage II and the Stage III heads from Patriot Here's the hyper link:

http://www.patriot-performance.com/waterNew/default.asp?T=505244&DID=1225

I understand that stage III has bigger intake valves than the stage II, which means more air in therefore more Boom. I notice that the exhaust valve stays the same size, but flows more exhasust cfm on the stage III. (why?)

Bottom line: will the stage three reduce driveabliity? I know I dont want an aggressive cam, just a mild one. Same for heads?

PS anyone have any experince with Patriots Billet cams? 233/237 @ .050 Duration .545"/.550" Lift 113 LSA

Input is greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm kind of in the same situation though I decided that I'm going to have a PNP and valve job done in town by a local machine shop. The price they quoted me was 180 for the valve job, 88 for the resurface, and 450 for the PNP. Total comes out to 718 and thats no tax cash payment... Much lower than the 1500 I've seen for the stage 2 Patriot heads. Both the shop I'm doing the install at and the machine shop have told me I'd probably be safe using my stock valve springs and equipment with the Comp 262 XE cam I'm going to be using. As far as the flownumbers and specs of the head I tried to post a thread asking peoples opinions and I got some replies about what else I need to do, but not much on the specific topic of the heads/cam combo I was going to be using. I'm just going to leave it up to the guys at the machine shop to look at the cam sheet for these cams and let them map it out to what they decide will be safe. I didn't mean to jack your thread or anything just giving you what, if little, I know about a related topic.
