I'm working on my swap and do I get a head gaskets for a 99-04 mustang GT now?
And do I have the option of putting on a head gaskets from a 96 - 98 or w/e to lower my compression back down?

No, use the right gaskets for the head. I'm doing that swap, too. It's a PITA. I recommend pulling the engine if you have access. It makes it so much easier.

Eh i'm making it work, slowly but steadily. My heads and intake should come in about the 30th and I got about 2 days to get the new ones back on! When you say the right gaskets you mean go grab gaskets for a 98 GT right?

I bought the Ford head changing kit and as far as I know they're the same. I meant that you couldn't lower your compression ratio. You're going to need the 3 layer head gaskets.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 3 layer head gaskets for a 98 GT is what i'm going to ask for. Carquest here I come
