I have used adjustable shocks on a number of vehicles I've owned and everything said above is quite true. However I find it to beequally true that for those of us who are enthisiasts, but do not go to the track, use our carsas daily drivers with a bitspiriteddriving now and then, and don't care to spend $400 to $700 on a set on struts/shocks (with no lifetime warranty I'll add) the Gabriel Ultras are fine.As for the anecdotalreport of Gabriel's being junk becausea setwore out prematurely, and one leaked, on a Dodge Neon, I am not certain what that reveals. I have used literally a dozen sets of Gabriel shocks over the years (their premium grade used to be called "Gas-Ryders") and have never had a failure, I've run some to 60k+ miles.
