well, according to the diablo tuner manual, it says that torgue modulation is the amount of torque available during a shift. Setting it to 1 will allow 100% of the torque to be used during the shift, thus yielding a firmer shift. I Turned this and all my shift firmness to the max. I called the diablo people and they said i should be okay and i called a couple of local shops and they said the same thing...i am installing a trans cooler though because they recommended one and it will help prolong the life of your trans.
