lol, ok so now what do you guys upshift at? i've noticed when i shift around 2,000-2,200 RPM's i get REALLY good gas mileage. so i've been shifting in that range, what about you guys?

i switch around 2500-2800, 2000 feels too early to me, well see how i start switching when i get my 410s installed... ill have to re-learn my cars revving ways all over again

It all depends on the mood im in and if Ive had a recent case of road rage. If its a good day and no one has pissed me off then I shift at or about 2500 to 3000. If im pissed I see the redline in 1st through 3rd. LOL

I bought a Mach1 Mustang to go fast. If I wanted to poke around, I would have bought a Toyota. So, I shift at about 5K in every gear. I don't give a chit about gas mileage in the Mach.

geez you guys shift pretty high...i havea stock 04 with just slp exhaust and let me tell you, i shift at maybe 1500-2000, i get great mileage because gas is pretty expensive here and i am not made of money..i need to save up for mods! I shift just like the Mustang Manual says..lol.. read up on it, its actually pretty informative
