I just got my Lightning MAF andits alot bigger than stock!but i was just wonderin, How much power do you thinkit will add ona blown application? I bought it cuz my stocker pegged and i was just curious. I didnt buy it for power gains anyway, but i'm just tryin to figure out what i'll be makin here after my Little project is done

Well, depending on how bad you pegged your MAF & what you have for supporting mods besides a SC & how capable your tuner is...

I understand, but a MAF could do as little as 5hp to 50hp depending on how bad the prior maf/tune was. It's a question you can't answer without initial HP/TQ numbers along with a detailed list of supporting modifications.

Like Dan was saying we don't know the full situation. You can't just through numbers out there like that. Just upgrading a MAF isn't going to yield you any power. If you are doing because you pegged your old one then there isn't really any way to say what it will net you because we don't know how much it was hindering you.

ok well say a car with a vortech made 8 psi and put down 350 to the wheels. He decides he wants a bigger MAF and a Powerpipe. what sort of gains would he see?

And i sort of said my previous statement wrong. I didnt peg my MAF but after the intercooler it'll be pegged, cuz it was borderline.
