Default spings

i have a 99gt and i want to lower it around 1 to 1 1/2 inches...i was thinking about steeda sport springs is that a good choice?? or should i go with something else ...i also was wondering do i need camber plates so my tires dont wear

Yeah, steeda springs are good springs. You can either get CC plates, or just get a front end allignment at your local tire shop.

I didnt need CC plates with my Steeda's - hell didnt even get an alignment [&:]

I have mine lowered and its smart to just go ahead with an alignment after about a week of driving. Just a little caster or camber being off can really wear the tires down to the steel belts if you dont keep an eye on them. I got mine lined.

i'd go with H&R Sport Springs (not the Race Springs) they lower your car a good 1.5'. i've been researching this a lot lately and if your not going with coil covers these are probably the next best thing IMO. this is where you can buy them but they're sorta pricey, i just got the part # off this page for my cobra as you can this for your GT, i'll be getting my springs/18x9 rim/tire combo all in one shot sometime this month.

img onna vouch for eibach .. get the pro kit if u want a slight drop. get the sportlines like i have it u want a 2 inch drop in fron and 1.8 in back. it looks awsome compared to the stock offroad mustang height
