Default 03 Cobra Bumper Question...

I might be able to buy a 03 Cobra bumper but it's just the cover. Is it easy to get the fog, harness and what not or should i hold out and wait for a bumper that already has everything? Please helpme out.

It shouldnt be a problem getting any of the stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong but you will need new brackets for the bumper, a grill delete emblem (if you dont already have one), fog lights, fog light bezels, and there is a how to guide for the 03 bumper that has details on how to convert your existing harness to fit the 03 lights. Thats all that I can think of.

Th wiring for the fog light harness is simple. Go to a local parts store and buy a light pigtail for a 9005 headlight bulb. it's a simple splice of positive and negative. 10 minutes tops. Same as above, you'll need to buy fog lights (50resto.com) and emblem for the grille. A Mach 1 grille delete is too small to fit the opening on the cobra bumper, so a grille delete kit would be a waste of money. If you give 50resto a call they should be able to tell you everything you would need.

Yeah, i plan on selling the grill delete and the chin spoiler to make up some extra funds for the bumper. If i get it, i still have to get it painted which will allow me to have a little extra time to buy the other stuff needed. I would sell the front GT bumper but i doubt i would get anything out of it.
