Default Raising compression

so i'm thinking if i mill my heads 36 thousandths i can bump to 10:1 compression. What kind of gains could be had from this? may do a light port/polish too.

well, remember the more compression you have, the less boost (if you plan on F/I) you can run in the future. instead of just milling the heads (.036 seems like a bit much) id just go with a stroker if you dont plan on F/I that way you got that torque and compression.

I'm not doing F/I,i can just get 'em milled for very cheap, and if it's worth it i don't wanna pass it up you know, just wondering what kind of gains i'd see.

i really wouldnt mill the heads, you throw it out of wack, and youre going to have an expensive repair job. only time i heard of milling the heads is on a repair job, ive never heard of someone doing it to "gain" HP. id just go with better flowing heads if you want power, or a P and P
