88 GT n loven it....

Today when i was getting off the freeway my car started bogging down as i stop in the stop sign like if it was gona turn off on me, and then i gave it gas and it took off normaly again but only for like a mile because after that it completely died on me, and i tried starting it and it would crank like if it wanted to start but it wouldnt so im wondering if its my fuel pump becuase of the way it happend and also when open the switch i dont hear the sound of the fuel pump so im wondering if that could be it... thanks for the help
