C&L with the 75mm Accufab. For both

Accufab and Accufab is also a good configuration (already polished) little pricy.

Depending on where you look the c&l setup outperforms the accufab setup and visa versa. I got the C&L setup and going to port and polish the plenum the end of the month.

Should net me 8-12RWHP easy.

Well it has quite a bit of slag in it from casting. And every little bit counts.

Livin' - Depending on where you look the C&L setup versus the Accufab set are basically equal. I think it was in 5.0 they did the compare and the C&L with the 75mm Accufab beat out the Accufab set-up, but poke around online and you see the opposite. Basically that difference (1-2hp) can be ac****ed for through conditions of the weather and/or the condition of the car. I look at like the Accufab is already polished and the C&L is right there, so if I polish the C&L it should give me the supposed few that the full Accufab has over it, again depending on where you find your info.

Hate to say it but that info is usless without a better explination. What does the header mean and why is there such a difference between all of them? What year is the car, what were the base numbers what are the mods.

From what I see I don't think the accufab picked up 30hp or tq or whatever the number means. Going to need an explination or atleast a link.

Default RE: Intake Setup

Looked a little, that is a CFM comparison.

Guess what?

It doesn't matter how much more air you flow unless you are in a FI set-up. Having to much CFM can hurt the performance of a motor. If more was better you would be putting 100mm TB on a car 75mm set-ups on a NA car in an poor setup can hinder performance.

There is a limit on how much CFM a car should have to give the best benifit. To make/say that the accufab set-up is the best one soly based on CFM is unwise. CFM is not a measure of power just the ability to flow air.

For argument sake the C&L and Accufab setups are basically equal in a NA application. The accufab may have a slight edge on a FI set-up. But the C&L still has material to spare for port/polish. Were I believe the Accufab is already polished.
