Question re: installing a tranny cooler on 03 GT
My 03, as I am sure other years, has a "tranny cooler" integrated into the radiator. If I am installing a B&M cooler, is there any difference whether I place it upstream or downstream of the stock cooler?
Thx!

You want to put the B&M cooler AFTER the stock intregated "cooler". I just installed my last month and have had no issues. It actually lowered the temp about 20 degrees.

RE: Question re: installing a tranny cooler on 03 GT
I just installed a cooler on my GT, I installed it after my stock cooler. I am going to run an oil cooler before the super charger next. I want it running nice and cool even in hot *** weather.

RE: Question re: installing a tranny cooler on 03 GT
bump, gettin ready to do this in next week or so. I have the B&M 70264, Autometer trans temp gauge w/ sender, and autometer trans temp manifold. Anyone have any pictures of how they set it up? I went to test fit the trans cooler yesterday but theres some hard lines that run along the front of the rad, guess it's for the ac. Also, what kind of fittings did everyone need? Which method did you use, cut the hard line, flare, and clamp rubber line on or replace the hard line completely with all rubber line and put hose barb fittings on the trans/rad?
