This happened to me a few weeks ago...hold the button down and slam the door a few times. Worked for me and hasn't happened again. Seems that motor gets stuck. Anyway, try this before taking panel off. Its worth a shot.

It could be any of the things mentioned here. Don't asume it's anything though, diagnose it to be sure before you start buying parts. Try holding the window switch and hitting the door panel FIRST. That is what's wrong most of the time as those window motors stick a lot. If that doesn't work, take the door panel off and check for power to the motor when the switch is pressed with a test light. If you have power replace the motor, if not replace the switch. If the regulator was bad you would still hear the motor run when you tried to roll the window up.

Had the same thing happen to me. Took the door panel off and beat the motor with a rubber mallet. Turned the car on and the window made a "thunk" noise then started working again. To be on the safe side I don't roll the window down all the way anymore so if it happens again and I'm somewhere where I can't take the door panel off I can just pull the window glass back up.

RE: driver window stuck down
Mine did the same thing the first week I bought my car! I hit the window button the exact same time I shut off the car and the window motor didnt like that and got stuck. Just pulled off the panel hit the motor a time or two with a hammer (not too hard) while I waspushing the button up.
P.S.- also dont touch the radio while shutting off the car, it also freaks out.
