are you %100 sure that it is the syncros, or could it be the clutch? sometimes people get confused between the two because they have similar symtoms....

A good way to check if it is your synchros or your clutch is to test your reverse engagement. Your reverse gear is not synchronized. If the effort to engage reverse, running with the clutch in, has increased quite a bit then you may have a clutch that is going or is out of adjustment. If effort into reverse has remained static then you may need a rebuild.

Either way we can get you the parts you need for a rebuild, or we can sell you a replacement transmission which is sometimes the least expensive method when it is all said and done. We also carry a huge selection of clutches if it turns out to be the clutch. Let me know if I can be of more help.

If your going to seriosly keep the car for any period of time, and you are going to continue to beat on it, you have two options:

You can do what I did, be an idiot and put another stock T-45 in there, then blow it up again and get a TKO/T-56 or...

You can get a TKO/T-56 right now and save yourself the headache. Its your choice

The T-45 is simply put one of the worst manual transmissions ever built for a RWD V8 car that was designed to be sporty/fun to drive. They simply have crap for internals, weak sauce syncs, and they shift like crap. TKO FTW.

Or look at that sticky on that transmission, I forgot what its called. Its like a rebuilt T-45 with upgraded stuff. I dunno if its any good, but you can check that out. It may be less expensive than a TKO or T56.
