Default is a Windsor realy better? Why?

I've been trying to read up on romeo and widsors and trying to find out why i've heard opinions of why W are better. Maybe its that I don't understand the math of the pistons or something. Can someone break it down for me? someone posted the sullivan site in another thread and the other is another link.

Lower Compression = Good for Supercharging
8 Bolt crank = Forged Crank = Good for Supercharging

YUP! My windsor has had a broken piston for over a month, been boosted to 4psi 6-7 times and loves the hell out of it.

Just because it has an 8 bolt crank does not mean that it is forged. The 8 bolt cranks that come in the GT's are nodular, only cobras get a forged crank stock.
Higher compression is actually better for supercharging but for a street driven car it would be a real pain to have to fill up with race fuel all the time to keep detonation down.
