Ok so i just bit the bullett and got talked into getting a forged short block[:@][:@][:@] Flat top forged pistons. It's like 11.5:1 compression. Forged rods. Balanced crank.. . . . . . . . Can you say[sm=nxsmile.gif] ???

Maybe when i get some extra cash after i one day pay all this off i can get a 150 kit or something. . . .

You figure out who your getting it through? VT? MMR? going through a race shop around you?

Sucks that your kinda going into debt over your car... but its for a good cause... [8D]

Edit - I know you already have heads, but do you have cams? are you going to purchase new cams along with the shortblock? just curious.

Thanks for the encouragement mitch lol. I guess im gonna be following in your footsteps. Silver N20 stangs ftw! Rus im going through a local race shop. I JUST got the cams and heads and manifold and gears put on and then a week later my clutch went out and i found out i had a cracked rod[:@]
GT03 man you need to remember something. Im still on the stock t-45 lol. For this week atleast

Im really itching to know what my rwhp is gonna be though. I need a dyno tune so i guess maybe ill fork over the 4.5 million dollars it costs around here to get a dnyo tune and a few pulls.

The car was running like major sh*t for a day. So they had to tear it apart to find the problem[:@][:@][:@] and guess what they found. My pistons are all worn out and my block is still a little jacked up so . . . . . I gotta go for it all now[:@][:@][:@] Talk about mixed emotions

Plan on running race gas at 11.5:1. You are also going to wear out your accessories (water pump, a/c, power steering pump) quicker because of the high compression. But hey, whatever makes it fast.Posttrack times, pics and info reguarding the swap process.

How would a higher compression effect the accessories? And i can get away with premium. Thats what the race shop told me. But ill run race at the track
