4.6L tech romeo/winsor
Ok, we know the 4.6L line has romeo/ winsor both made these engines. Now, is it the same case for 5.4L's? Also, I've seen a lot of talk on here about this but nothing seemed to be fact, does romeo heads fit on winsor blocks and vicaversa? Couple of questions to help my project out here.

RE: 4.6L tech romeo/winsor
Romeo's and Windsor heads are compatable even from 4.6L to 5.4L! The intakes from 4.6 and 5.4 differ though (5.4 is a wider block! Romeo has bolted on gears for the cams with 11 bolt valve covers. Windsor has a 13/14 bolt valve covers with pressed on gears for the cams. I believe the front timing cover will be different from Romeo to windor??? Either that or I def. know the bolt holes are larger on the Windsor heads than they are on the Romeo heads, so maybe you could get away with using the windsor bolts on the Romeo timing cover, but shape and molds are identical! The 5.4L heads are going to have a different grind to the cams for more low end torque and less high end HP because they are made for the Trucks with heavy loads. (not necessarily a bad thing because the stangs are quite heavy). You can take a windsor cam and put it into a Romeo head! Hope this helps you out!
