Need Rubber Seal
I was hopping to post this on the convertible tech, but I couldn't find the section
Anyways... I was hoping somebody could help me out in finding this rubber seal that I need. It is located on the lower corner of the passenger quarter window on my 2002 convertibel gt. I took it to the (non-ford)dealer where I bought it and they told me the seal is only sold as part of the kit that replaces the whole window... something like 600 bucks! forget that! I was thinking about just removing it completely, but then when I wash my car I would probably get water in the quarter panelsand then might eventually get rust or something (anybody know if these cars have drain holes to prevent something like that from happening?)
If anybody has a spare in good condition I'd also be willing to buy it off of ya.

RE: Need Rubber Seal
Convertable Tech
Check a FORD dealer ship, ask around local body shops or upholstery shops. I think the weatherstrip on my car looks just like that and its non conv. And if u are in CA I doubt that will cause any significant rust, the inside of the quarter should have factory rustproofing on it.
