Transmission Problems?
I have a 96 Mustang GT automatic with 145k miles. I'm having some issues with it after today.
The thing won't accelerate fast. It will slowly accelerated to any speed I want, but its like its not changing gears when I smack the gas. If I go above 2k RPMs it just doesn't accelerate anymore. If I keep it below that it will get to the speed limit eventually.
Also noticed that when it does go above 2k rpms it feels more like its not even in gear anymore. If I let go back below 2k rpms I can feel the gear reengage.
