I am having the same problem. I have an off road H pipe with a set of flow masters and mil eliminators. I do have a check engine light that is throwing the p0402 code EGR excessive at idle. The car idles great and sounds awsome runs great till you try to go over 50MPH. as soon as it hits in 3rd gear 3600 rpm it cuts like hitting the revlimiter then in fourth it does it 2600 rpm in fifth it does it at 1700 rpm. I have been ready some things in here and sounds like the car is in Limp mode but I do not know really what is makeing it go into this. By the way the car is a 1996 GT convertable. So any insight to this would help

thanks,
