RE: oil in the spark plug tread
Did you check all of your plugs? Clean the threads in the head, put new plugs in, and check them in a few thousand miles. If there is oil in them then you have a prob. For now, all I can tell you is it could be many things.Rings, an external oil leak, blown head gasket, spillage, or someone may have coated the threads with oilas an anti-seize.....
1. Are your valve covers oily?
2. Do you have blue smoke coming out your exhaust at idle or WOT?
3. Do you ever have to add oil between oil changes?
You might want to put a compression tester on each cylinder to help narrow things down.

My 03 had a very, very light coating of clean oil on some of the plug threads, NOT the tip, nowhere near the valve covers or on top of the heads etc, just the threads and the car runs perfectly with 28k on it.
These were the factory plugs BTW.
I thought it was odd. Maybe the factory puts a little oil on the plug threads?
Who knows.
Unless you have an external leak, or your plugs are fouling, I wouldn't worry about it.
