after driving it a minute i noticed when i let off the gas between 2k and 1500rpm i get a crackling sound almost a pop like a str8 piped car
is this normal???
im getting no CEL so i dont geuss its hurting anythin
also it idle like 200rpms higher
thanks again guys

RE: Another IAC mod Q sorry guys!!
you need to disconnect your battery for like 10 min to reset your Cars cmputer memory that way it will go off the new iac gasket size not the old. thats why your idles messed up

what your doing when you disconnect the battery is reseting your KAM er something like that. its your cars short term memory for settings(something along those lines) and if you just install something like that without reseting it, the car tries to compensate to get the setting like they where previous to the install. thats why you disconnect

If you don't disconnect the cable and let it idle that high for a certain amount of miles, eventually you will get the CEL. It will give you a code saying you have a malfunctioning IAC...
Just disconnect your batter even if the light comes on...disconnecting the battery for about 20 min. will erase the CEL too.
