Alright everyone, miller and i looked at the car, and we couldnt find a crack anywhere. But what we did find was that the hose was a bit melted around the bottom of where it goes to the thermostat, and when we revved the engine, we saw some coolant bubbles come from the top front of the manifold seal. Not a crack.

Gonna rtv that **** up and see what happens.

Good luck mang.

I tried JB Weld and even that **** didn't hold up.

Even if it didn't crack, if you plan on keeping the car, why not change it out for an aluminum x over anyway?

Again, I had the same issue and when I took it all apart, the intake manifold gasket was deteriorated to the point that coolant was seeping by and coming out at the bottom of the intake just under the thermostat (i.e. where the intake manifold bolts to the head under the thermostat). The coolant was brownish but I think most of that was because I added more water than anti-freeze. I do agree that spending the extra $200 to get the Ford Racing part with aluminium crossover is the better way to go - make sure you get the right alternator bracket. If you get it apart and find your intake is cracked, I still have my OEM one with the plastic crossover you can have for the shipping cost.

well its starting to leak again, after takin it apart and lookin at it and tightening it down again, its leakin a little bit when im at a decent amount of throttle lol.

Im gonna seal it up with rtv sealant, and hope it holds till i can find out exactly why its leakin from where it is (if someone says its cracked one more time, im gonna e-slap a bitch...). Its not cracked at all anywhere, just for some odd reason the seal isnt as tight as it should be where the top of the housing is.

How long does that **** have to set before i can drive the car again? A couple hours to firm up?

*cough* its cracked..... damn msuit have had something i nmy throat lol... when u took it all apart did you check the o-rings that are between the aluminum crossover and where it meets the intake manifold??? that is where mine cracked, on the inside and it was not visible until you took the o-rings out of it, so this required taking off the manifold and then taking off the aluminum crossover. The crack was on the inside yes, but it caused the coolant to leak out everywhere.... but to tyour last post, the thing should say on the bottle how long it takes to cure, i would wait that long and maybe a little more if your worried about it. but good luck man
