Default PI intake question

I have a 96 mustang and I see that the PI intake needs other parts to bolt it up to my car. Can any one who has done this mod let me know what elseI need other than the Intake. Also any tips would be appreciated. If I get the intake in is there any mods that have to be done to put the PI head on or will it bolt up?
Thanks swamp

I would just do a complete PI swap all at once.

yea, just the intake is not worth it, especially if you ever do plan to do a PI swap later anyway. there is a sticky on this that has pretty good information

Its a good upgrade and will add a solid 15rwhp over the stock intake and raise the usable rpm band.

you need the intake,pi intake gaskets,pi coolant tube/nipple, pi alt bracket, and you need to either RTV up the mismatched coolant ports or use a set of adapter plates.

There are a few write ups on other forums with pics... do a google search.

If you do not want to do a full on PI swap due to upped compression or something, do the cams and Intake at the same time. A solid 30rwhp gain, and your car will pull to redline.

The main reason is I 'm not sure I want to put the money in this motor with the high mileage it has. It already has comp cams in it. I was thinking it would be a cheap way to boost the hp without a lot of money in it.From what I have read on this forum the intake will give 15 whp and the heads will give a30 whp more. The problems is if I get around 15 whp from the camsI have that means the net on the heads drops the gain down to10-15whp seems a little high to gain so little $1400+ my labor Vs say 280 + labor. If I am wrong about my whp figurefeel free tolet me know.
