Default cobra gauge cluster fitment on GT

Would a 99-04 cobra gauge cluster fit my 02 gt? I know it would fit, but would it work? Would I have to swap electrical boards on my cluster to make it work? If all that worked, would my tach and speedo be accurate due to different max levels of RPM and MPH?? Anyone that has ever attempted this and made it work, would be helpful. Thanks.

I have an 03-04 Cobra Gauge Cluster in my 00 GT, but I can't tell you how to install it because it was in the car when I bought it but it works fine.....

it should fit, but you'll have to get the speedo calibrated

...because the motor that drivesthe needle is calibrated for 150MPH instead of 160 MPH? Wouldnt the computer send the signal of of how fast the vehicle is traveling to the circuit board and the circuit board display the appropriate speed no matter what? Or do I live in a fantasy world??

PM shadowdrake

i think he has a 99 or 01 cobra cluster, i know you will not have the same milage as it is stored in the cluster. so mark it down before the swap.
