Does anybody have part numbers and some fairly cheap places to pick up the parts for forging your internals? Is it better to buy a whole kit or to buy pieces individually? I have seen kits border around $1600. What all does this consist of? Pistons, rods, crank, pins, what else? Thanks! I am going to be supercharged and look forwarding to forging and then NOS.

 

it's cheaper to piece it together and take it to a machine shop, but more of a hassel.

 

can you lead me in the right direction for finding the pieces? I found a cobra crank for $600, wasn't sure if that is a good price. Also, what all is entailed with doing this, meaning what does the machine shop have to do to the internals?
