Damn you guys talk alot of sh** about the 3650. Look at the T5. Look at the T45. the 3650 is a GIGANTIC improvement over those transmissions. they're not garbage,i've beat the hell out of mine and it still holds up strong. and if you're really worried about breaking a manual trans,and pushing "1000rwtq",you'd probably be better off going with something like a built AOD.

I was thinking maybe an automatic when I get there, but I am undecided yet, its not even close to reaching those kind of power levels.

I would imagine that I will still have the car when its paid off and I start dumping tons of money into it. The only reason I get "bored" with vehicles is either I have nothing else to mod, or crap starts breaking ALL THE TIME. With mustangs and my low budget, it will be a long long time before I run out of little things to do with this, so I should still have the car down the road. I always root for the underdog, which is why i want to build a powerful modular small block Ford.
