steering clicking noiise!???
ok when stationary...while the car is running....turning the steering wheel back and forth all you hear is click click click....click click click...but it sounds like its outside the car some where but the front end...tie rods and inner tie rods are tight.....and sometimes when driving you can hear the clicking....only when turning the wheel..and i see nothing hiting the intermediate shaft by the rackk,.....steeering column bad?? rack and pinion bad??? anyone run into this.?

Could be clocksprings, no big deal, they go out after a while and make noise, they are located in the steering wheel and have something to do with your steering wheel controls like cruise, stereo controls, airbagetc. Shouldn't hurt anything if they are noisy. Your post is vague so this is just a suggestion.

It sounds like it is something to do with the thing called steering gear tube bracket. That is what mine was. They are like 3 or 4 dollars. Search the site that is how I find out how to fix it.
