I was wondering I need to replace my front bumper since it has a crack on the passenger side under the headlight and I was wondering is the Cobra bumper a direct replacement? As far as the fog lights go I would need to buy new one's correct? If so any recommendations? Also does anyone have the paint code's for a 00 GT?

 

yea your going to need new fog lights.

 

the bumper new 03 bumper from ford will cost 600+(cover, chin, fog assemblys), i priced one out a month and a half ago when i fugged up my front end. also the two posts on the bumper between the grill area and the headlights will rub against the stock gt hood. it can be easily fixed by moving the bumper mounts back like a 1/4in. hope that helps.

 

youll need bumper cover, fog light brackets, fog light bezels, fog lights. www.50resto.com has it all. You will also need the lower air dam to make it look complete. www.50resto.com does not have that on their site, but they do carry it and it costs 115 bux

 

If you have someone who works at a bodyshop, visit this site www.nationalautobody.com . You can get some decent deal thru them, but it has to be bought by a body shop.

 

the two fangs on the bumper are taller than the gt one, but a little drilling nd rearranging of holes can make it work. not a big deal
