light getting in, i have a 97 gt, i cannot seem to find any switch to make my light automatically turn on when i open my doors, its probably something stupid on my part but if anybody can help it is quite annoying not being able to see.

does anybody that has a 96 to 98 mustangs lights come on automatically when they open the doors

i had the same problem on an 02 cougar. took me way too long to figure out. there was a switch on the roof near the lights above the mirror, one way had lights come on, the other kept it dark.

Surely you have something similar going on.

haha believe it or not i myself traded my cougar for my current mustang, i looked for that switch in or around the lights, there is none to be found?

I don't think there is one. They should be automatic all of the time unless someone has just shorted out your door sensors so the light never comes on...?
