Default AUTO TRANS COOLER

I've seen some trans coolers for sale and was thinking about getting one. Anyone have one hooked that can shed some light on this? Where would I mount the cooler, how would I hook it up? When is it a good idea to get one?

Default RE: AUTO TRANS COOLER

its always a good idea to get one. Lowering transmission temps really helps the tranny live longer. Think of where you see an intercooler or heat exchanger mounted. Somewhere up front and toward bottom of radiator would be good. Different shapes and sizes affect where you want it. Some come with fans and you can put it just about anywhere.

Should be able to bolt it up with some bracketry without too much trouble.
