Go to auto zone and look for the star keys with a hollow center. That is what you need to take it off. I cant remember the name of them right off hand but they have them. What code did you get anyways? Advice for the future auto zone employees don't know jack. Put the code up on here before you buy anything. I hope you didnt waste $180. If it is the maf you probably just needed to clean it. But it could have been your FPS, your o2 sensors, or because you have an offroad x pipe (depending on what code you got)

Thanks oxfordgt for your info. Maybe i should wait until the light comes on again and have them run the code and post it here.

Before switching the maf, check for air leaks from the intake tube to the plenum or vacume lines to the plenum. It also could be a 02 sensor reading falsly due to the new mid pipe, i know mine read lean for a lil bit when i put my new mid pipe on and then i guess the computer just got used to it after running with the cel on for a little bit. But get some starter fluid and spray it around in the engine bay in posible leak areas and see if the car revs.

Damnit... a mustangs check engine light says CHECK ENGINE, mine stays on all day everyday. You mother ****ers are still off topic.
I believe what youre looking for is a torq's head. Ask for some of those. It should look like a star.
