Qustion about axles

What are the differences between the GT and Cobra solid rear axels? Thanks

99+ Cobras do not have solid rear axles. They come with Independent Rear Suspension. GT's have solid rear axles.

Um I have a 98 gt and want to put this 98 cobra axle sitting in a garage on the car. The 98 and down had the solid rear axle hence the reason I asked the difference between the GT and Cobra Solid Rear Axles

my guess would be the only difference is the rear end gearset, 3.55 maybe.
