4.6 Miles?

RE: 4.6 Miles?
Its more in the use than the mileage for sure... about 99% of the time, the people with engine problems are the ones who beat the **** out of it everyday for a few years... these motors are made to be run hard, but being an idiot (excessive burnouts, over taching etc) will blow up any motor

It's not even a matter of paying a little more for what you want. That car is overpriced by about 4 grand.
I personally know of 3 99-02 GT's for under 10 grand. I'll just go buy them cheap and rip you off a couple grand if you'll pay more for what you really want.

I have 235k hard miles on a 96 GT. Still original motor and tranny. Well maintained and runs better than when bought in 96. I street race the occasional gas guzzler, go on SCCA circuit tracks every summer, and even a mountain run every 3 months when warm. I agree with the blasphemous plastic intake minfolds (been through 2 of them) and only one clutch.

RE: 4.6 Miles?
concider this: how many miles do all the taxi cabs and police cars around this country have on them? Those cars are beat to hell every day and the people driving them don't care, they dont own them. and Police cars idle all the time so when it comes to hours, they have lots of time on them. In my opinion, the 4.6 has proved to be one of the most reliable motors ever made as long as they are maintained well. And even when they are not maintained well they will still keep on going before something catastrophic happens.
