Default INTAKE???

I have a 04' Mustang GT auto, I just got it from a dealer that wanted to get rid of it. It only has 20K miles on it....what a steal. But anywyaz, I want to start with my mods and the first thing im goin gto get is an intake. I was looking at BBK, but i just wanted to know if there was anyone that had any feed back on it or any other suggestions?..

If your talking about a cold air intake then just get the cheapo $30 one from ebay. You will get the same performance gain from it as you would a $200 one. NONE.

Well some good ones go into the fenderwall whille others just stay in the engine bay. People say there is a difference there, but who really knows. It's all just preference on what you have.

My opinion is, if you want something shiney under your hood then get the full intake set up, ebay, jlt whatever. But if you are just looking for performance remove the air silencer and get a K&N filter.

I just got the black one from ebay. $47 shipped. It installed easy and the black looks good under the hood.

JLT ftw.

They have a RAI (ram air intake) and a CAI (cold air intake [fenderwell] )

"RAM AIR intake" that makes me laugh every time I see it. And the "cold air intake" is the same thing as stock. A CAI is just for looks.
