Default lowering springs???

I have a 98 GT with 275/40/17s in the front and was wondering if i put a 1.25" inch (FordRacing C Springs) drop in the front if they would rub? Has anyone done this with the 275s in the front and been alright with turning sharp...I keep getting mixed answers from people some saying you cant do it and other saying it will be fine...i need facts on it just not what people think so if someone has this setup on a 96-98GT or knows someone with it please let me know how it worked out...thanks

I don't have 275's in the front but I have a high profile tire in there. I am sitting 2 1/4" lower on coilovers with 255/45zr18's and I can perform at a road course just fine.

there is no rub at all. i have 275s in the front with the c springs. only rub you will get is from turning your steering wheel all the way to one side. that is from the width of the tire. need new a arms to fix that i believe
